does anyone have any tips on tuning e30's as i am in the market for one and plan to tune it into a wild piece of machinery.

hi,
there are lots of ways to tune an e30, the first few items that should be used are an induction kit, a stainless steel high-flow exhaust system and a remaped engine ecu or chip, then the mods get more advanced like high perfomance camshafts, complete engine management systems, high performance ignition systems, then the mods go rather extreme like superchargers, turbos and nitrous oxide systems, all these mods will increase the power output but without the right transmission you wont be going far, so also remember things like multi plate clutches, titanium driveshafts, limited slip differentials and if you go really extreme then theres also straight cut gears. also remeber that going faster will require stopping faster too, so you'll also need uprated discs and pads then maybe larger brake calipers, bigger brake hoses and an uprated brake servo, usually though the best tuning option for any car would be an engine swap.
