It basically helps make sure your driveline stays as close to maximum efficiency / perfect fit / dead on as possible.

Not bad for only $12.05... so far, every customer in the last two weeks that's bought an x-brace has gone with the buffer stop as well.


UPDATE - I have the x-braces from the next batch in stock with all mounting hardware, and I'm just waiting on the buffer stops to ship them out... since everyone has ordered with the buffer stop lately we depleted our regional warehouse so we'll have more in shortly though and I'll put these out as soon as they arrive.

The x-brace is one of our most popular items and it’s probably the least expensive, best bang for the buck E36 “handling” mod you can do to your car.

Can you explain what the buffer stop does? From what I understand it puts pressure on the oil pan to keep the engine from moving?

This thread was originally started over two years ago (2005) and BMW has had two or three major price hikes during that time, so the x-brace kits have gone up slightly from 99 when we originally started this thread, however KO guarantees the lowest prices on all Genuine and OEM parts, and the x-brace GP is no exception.

In fact, it has been one of our best ongoing GP sales ever!

You can click the links below to get pricing with or without the buffer stop, and since you are canadian you will have to call in to a salesman to get a quote on shipping (or you can email your exact shipping address) and we would use UPS Standard for Canadian orders by default.

US orders go by FedEx Ground.
