whats the difference between this kit and the m50 manifold.com kit?

The KO kit is the least expensive option on the market and the value in this kit is purely focusing on saving you the time of figuring out this very easy mod yourself.

By easy, we are comparing it to say, changing out your head gasket lol...

It's still a mod that should only be attempted by a pro-shop or extremely experienced do-it-your-selfer, but we've simply shorted the 20+ hours you would need to figure it out yourself, down to about a 4-6 hour install.

We include everything you need to get it done in the least expensive way. The purpose of this mod is simply to get you the performance gains of the M50, while maintaining the OBDII smog, ecu, etc. functionality.

The basic idea is that all your OBDII goodies that were connected to vacuum need to be connected to vacuum with the M50, which doesn't have native support for all of them, so thus a conversion kit is needed.

Our kit gets the job done in the most cost effective, simplest manner, with no needless overdesign of parts, and subsequent extra costs - it's all about performance here with this mod.

If you are a super anal type of person, you may find a different kit a better fit for you, as the eurosport kit for example is a beautiful cnc-ed piece of mechanical engineering and you pay 4x the price for it, but you'll get the same performance... it just looks prettier before you install it. After install, the kits all look virtually the same as the majority of the goodies will be under the M50 anyway.

KO used to run the eurosport kit on our 97 M3 track car, but when we added the KO Stage III boost kit from our Stage II kit, we went from 8.5 PSI to 11.5 PSI, and the eurosport kit developed a vacuum leak for us (we have no knowledge of how it works for others, that's just what happened to us), so we put our simple kit on it, and haven't had a single problem since at 11.5 PSI and over 450 rwhp!

You should look at this mod from the perspective of what's most important to you as a buyer as the three kits I'm aware of on the market all will net you the same gains normally aspirated and under 9 PSI of boost, but it if you're going to go boosted, you should take that into consideration, and also your own budget, and your level of perfectionism all should come into consideration.

If you want the least expensive option, with simple, pure performance in mind, and the ablity to handle high boost guaranteed... then the KO kit is for you!

Thanks for the M50 Conversion kit WITH manifold order Dave!

I already put your order in to be pulled and cleaned for the manifold and the conversion kit will go out the minute I have the fuel rail tabs back from the machines shop.

they unfortunatley pushed our job back to Monday (per the shop foreman).
