KO Performance Press Release

KO has discovered that BMW is at it again... with increasing prices that is.
BMW has historically increased pricing on large sections of their part #s starting in Q1 of each year, and unfortunately 2008 is no different so far.
KO witnessed at least 3 distinct Genuine BMW price increases in 2007, and the first of 2008 is upon us unfortunately.
Here's a summary of what we've seen so far (this update seems to be rolling out in the BMW system as of yesterday / this week):
Total Items With Increases = 133
Average Increase = 30.9%
We have already seen this first round of increases negatively affect all of us in the BMW game, however there is a modicum of good news....
Total Items With Decreases = 6
Average Decrease = -21.1%
So... we can thank them for giving us all a lift in these days of high gas prices, and a weaker dollar on six parts... but there's still those other 133 parts they decided to go the other way with.
We expect that there will be at least 2 more price increases from BMW in the next 3-5 months.
