The later model BMWs (all series) have raised numbers near the lug nut area on the face of the wheel. Most are single or double digit numbers. These numbers don't appear to be typical casting marks, which would more than likely be on the inside of the wheel. Does anyone know if the number somehow relates to the performance rating of the wheel, or is of some other significance?
