Fuel pump fuse keeps on burning.

My 330Ci (E46) was parked for a few months. I tried to start it and the fuel pump fuse went out. I replaced it and it burnt too. Can this be the fuel pump? If so, how can I replace it or clean it? Anyone know about this problem?

I think you should check the battery first.
