Hello! I really need your expert opinions and advice on my ti, please. It is manual and has about 68k miles on it. I have had it for about two years now. During these two years, the driver side window had fallen into the track (twice), the water pump nearly broke down, SRS light came up, the muffler rattled (and possibly needs the hanger replaced), fuel indicator went to "empty" right after filled up and the windshield fluid pumps were out. Recently, the ABS light had come up and the dealer told me that one each of the front and rear sensors are busted. On top of this, the SRS light remained on and I was told that the seatbelt buckles and the mat sensors need replacement. I really love my car, but I also really would like to know how many more parts are likely to go bad in the coming year or before I hit the 100k mileage. Much thanks in advance.

Sounds pretty bad. I would look at the value of the car and judge your love of money and the car. If the maintenace will make teh car safe and bring you value back up without suffering a heavy loss then go for it. BMW maintenance is expensive so check your pockets

Thank you very much for the advice. I really appreciate it. I did think about the value of the car and my love of it. Fortunately, I have just found a certified mechanic who is going to take a look at it next week and will tell me if it's worth keeping. Thank you again. =)

that's definately a lot of maintenance for a BMW all in a short time frame in my opinion. You may have a lemon. BMWs are usually really solid even past 120k. Even the smaller engines.

my 2 cents.

Thanks much for the advice. The advisor at the dealership told me that the problems I have experienced so far are actually pretty common in TI's, especially with the electronic devices. So, I guess it's the love of the car vs money now.
